Garfield Park Conservatory & Sunken Garden Indianapolis Indiana

The Garfield Park Conservatory, on the southern side of Indianapolis Indiana, offers crafts, guest lecturers on landscaping and horticulture, and gardening demonstrations.  In addition, the Conservatory has several exhibits throughout the year, including the very popular Holiday Poinsettia Show  The Conservatory is home to over 10,000 square feet of the world's tropical plants.  There are three seasonal shows as well as educational displays.  The Conservatory is open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

The Sunken Gardens were first opened to the public in 1916 and are three acres of European classical gardens.  The Gardens are a relaxing retreat from the city life with beautiful fountains and several benches scattered throughout the paved walkways that navigate through the gorgeous landscaping.  There are also large, formal turf areas that are frequently used for wedding ceremonies and a summer concert series.  From April 15 to October 15, the Gardens are open daily from 10:00 to 10:00.  During the rest of the year, the hours are daily from 10:00 to 5:00.
