Lockerbie Square is an historic district that is the oldest surviving neighborhood in Indianapolis Indiana.  Lockerbie Square is known for its ties to the famous poet, James Whitcomb Riley, who lived there for the last twenty years of his life.  The district is a mix of Federal, Italianate, and Queen Anne homes that stand alongside cozy cottages in the shadow of the heart of downtown Indianapolis.  With these 19th century, historic houses and the cobblestone streets, you will feel as though you have traveled back through time.
