What is the Indianapolis Multiple Listing Service (MLS)?

The main purpose of the indianapolis MLS is to provide a place to publish an offer of compensation by listing brokers that participate in the MLS. The Indianapolis MLS publishes the commission that is offered by the listing real estate broker (usually a REALTOR) and disseminates all of the information about homes for sale allowed by the Indianapolis MLS rules and guidelines. Any Indianapolis MLS member real estate broker can collect the commission offered based on the contractual agreement that all REALTORs sign when they join the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board Of Realtors.
