The Museum of Miniature Houses & Other Collections is a small museum in Carmel, Indiana dedicated to the art of miniatures. A world of wonder for dollhouse enthusiasts, this Indianapolis Museum is an Indianapolis non-profit organization and member of the American Association of Museums, founded in 1991 and dedicated to preserving and encouraging the art of miniatures.
With both continuing and special exhibits that include antique and modern dollhouses, miniature vignettes and box scenes, handcrafted miniature art, and miniature furniture, the CSI “miniature killer” has nothing on this museum’s displays.
Along with the displayed exhibits, the Museum of Miniature Houses has a gift shop with a selection of unusual miniatures, books, and periodicals all about miniatures and dollhouses. A museum Treasure Hunt Game is provided for Carmel children. Come see this great example of Carmel art today!
